Saginaw is a village in Newton County, Missouri, United States. The population was 297 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Joplin, Missouri Metropolitan Statistical Area. ==Geography== Saginaw Village is located at (37.025228, -94.469581). According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of , all of it land.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.census.gov/geo/www/gazetteer/files/Gaz_places_national.txt )〕 The terrain is rolling hills and bluffs and is typical of Ozark hickory and oak forest of the region. Shoal Creek, the third largest tributary of the ecologically important Spring River watershed, straddles its southern boundary. Given Joplin's proximity to Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Kansas, this area is commonly referred to as the four-states region.
